Sweet peppers, avocado, citrus, Medjoul dates and carrots — high-class produce to the buyer's specification.

Direction

Sourcing direction

Israel is a direction for high-class produce: sweet peppers, avocado, citrus, Medjoul dates and carrots. We are ready to contract Israeli producers and export companies; delivery to Russia is arranged with engaged partner logistics.

The direction is chosen for items where shelf appearance matters: Israeli export packers work for demanding markets, and their specifications for variety, calibre and packaging are described in detail. The supplier's valid certificates, including GlobalG.A.P., are requested and checked before the contract — together with company documents and samples.

Supply follows the buyer's specification: variety, calibre, packaging and temperature mode are agreed before the first shipment and checked in the country of shipment before loading.

Season

When the items of this direction are in season

The monthly windows come from the consolidated seasonality calendar: the direction table and the calendar are built from the same data. Availability, variety and the exact boundaries of the window are confirmed before quotation.

Window confirmed on request

Seasonal windows for Israeli items are not published on the site until they are confirmed: in the consolidated calendar the line for this direction is marked as pending. This is a rule rather than a gap — we do not publish invented dates. The window for a specific variety and packer is confirmed before quotation.

Supply terms

Batch, packaging, route

The parameters a buyer asks about first. Everything named here goes into the contract specification before shipment. The destination is your warehouse or the distribution centre (DC) of a retail chain.

01 /

Minimum batch

We work from a full truck or container. Exact volumes and the delivery schedule are fixed in the contract.

02 /

Packaging and labelling

Packaging type, net weight per box, palletising layout and the labelling artwork are fixed in the specification before the first shipment. Repacking and labelling to your acceptance standard are arranged at partner preparation facilities. The temperature mode is agreed for each item separately and fixed in the carriage contract.

03 /

Route and transit time

The route is selected for the batch and the deadline: a sea shipment from Israeli ports with a subsequent road leg to your warehouse or DC, and air freight for urgent batches. Shipment goes as a full container (FCL) or as a groupage consignment (LCL) — we calculate in the quotation which is better for your volume. The port of discharge, the Incoterms delivery basis and the transit time are stated in the quotation together with the price.

04 /

Class and grading

Class, calibre, appearance and defect tolerances belong in the contract specification. The words 'high class' on a website do not replace a specification: the contract carries concrete parameters by which a batch can be accepted or rejected.

Supply format

How supply is organised

01 /

Direct contract

We are ready to contract producers and export packers directly — for a specific request. Before every contract we check the supplier against the restrictions in force at Rosselkhoznadzor: an exporter closed for import means a truck stopped at the border, not a line in the news. Specification, calibre, packaging and the Incoterms delivery basis are fixed in the contract.

02 /

Quality control at loading

Inspection in the country of shipment is arranged before loading: ripeness, calibre, packaging and temperature mode are checked against the agreed specification, and the scope of control is fixed in the contract. The point of control is to catch discrepancies before the DC gates, not at them.

03 /

Cold chain to the point of acceptance

The cold chain to the DC of a chain or to the buyer's warehouse is arranged with engaged partner carriers; the temperature mode is fixed in the carriage contract.

Questions

Frequent questions

Which documents travel with the batch?

Invoice and packing list, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, food safety documents and transport documents. The composition of the set depends on the item and the delivery basis — the exact list is fixed in the contract.

When is the season for Israeli items?

Name the item and the volume — we will confirm the window for the specific variety and packer before quotation. Until a window is confirmed, we do not publish it.

How is supply organised?

The supply model: a direct contract with the supplier, quality control in the country of shipment against the agreed specification, and a cold chain to Russia fixed in the carriage contract.

What happens if a batch fails acceptance?

The procedure and the allocation of costs for such cases are fixed in the contract before the first shipment: we can arrange pick-up of the batch, re-sorting and re-delivery — in accordance with the terms of the specific contract.
