- Name and grade. Caustic soda (liquid — stating the concentration — or solid flaked), soda ash, hydrogen peroxide, acids, alkalis, solvents — the grade to GOST or the producer's technical specification
- Purity and indicators. Mass fraction of the main substance, permissible impurities (chlorides, iron, heavy metals), solution concentration, density
- Regulatory status of the position. Certain acids, alkalis and solvents are classified as precursors of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances: the handling procedure, the requirements to the buyer and the record-keeping rules are checked before the contract
- Volume and schedule. Tonnage; a single shipment or regular deliveries with a calendar
- Incoterms delivery basis and destination. FCA plant, CPT station, DAP warehouse
- Packaging. Big bags, 25 or 50 kg sacks, drums, IBC containers, liquid bulk in tank cars, flexitanks; returnable packaging is agreed separately, with the return procedure and deadline
- Transport requirements. Hazard class and UN number, whether an approval for the carriage of dangerous goods (ADR) is needed, heating, cooling and material compatibility requirements
- Acceptance conditions at your site. A discharge rack, tanks, a forklift, storage permits
- Payment terms and contract currency

- Conformity assessment document under the applicable EAEU technical regulation; state registration certificate for products that require one
- For dangerous goods — the UN classification, the emergency card, approval documents for the vehicle and the driver (ADR)
- Certificate of origin (form ST-1 — for CIS and EAEU countries)
- Invoice, packing list, transport documents: consignment note (TN), CMR, SMGS rail waybill
- For export — the goods declaration, the HS (TN VED) code and a check of whether the position falls under dual-use goods Compliance and export control
EAEU — the Eurasian Economic Union.
